Mi Casa

So I thought I would show you the outside of our cute little casita!  It's a back house so we are up above our Garage.  The patio deck is really awesome.  When we first moved in we had no tables or chairs so my parents were kind enough to let us use their patio table.  So every night we would eat dinner outside on the deck  . . . it was beautiful because we are up in the trees and can see all the stars- so magical!  It's a small little place but we have made it our home and couldn't be happier.

Happy Halloween!!!

So this morning I was sleeping in as I usually try to do on Fridays since I only have 2 more left before we go back to 5 day work weeks, and Keith made us some coffee.  The thing that was different about today was how he delivered the coffee . . . maybe because I had mentioned to him the night before that the last 2 years I haven't been that in to Halloween, he decided to get into the spirit by flying into our bedroom with the coffee screaming Happy halloween while wearing a bright royal blue cape!  It was amazing, I couldn't hold back the giggles and smile despite how tired and groggy I was.  Just one of those great moments that reminds me how lucky I am to be married to such an incredibly fun guy!  I hope your halloween was as silly as mine!

Amazing Kate

So one of my best friends, Katie came to town on business but was able to squeeze a little play time in with her good 'ole buddy Tree!  She called me up and told me to meet her at the Orange circle for a night cap and some good conversation.  I had a blast catching up with her and learning about her new job in Pharmaceutical Sales with Beth Anne.
Of course there is never a dull moment with Katie around, she was trying to pick up a few glasses off the table and dropped one, which sliced her finger open.  You will notice the bloody napkin and a ridiculous sad face.  You may also see a photo where I look shocked and confused . . .  this is when I found out Katie - I hate high school related forms of trendy communication-Pebley now Polzer told me she has a Face Book page!
W-O-W! She even tried to convince me to make one and justified it by saying it was better the  My Space. Then she decides to text me the next day saying that she created a face book page for me! Don't believe it if you see it- it's not mine! Katie is amazing as always! I can't wait to plan our High School reunion- we can use her face book to contact everyone!

My Birthday Suprise

Keith had a big surprise planned for my birthday so of course I needed  new ensemble to wear. So like any natural born shopper I quickly rushed to one of my fav. hot spots The Lab in costa Mesa to find a fabulous outfit for my big night!
My birthday surprise was PERFECT! Dinner and Musso & Franks in L.A. and tickets to see the long awaited "WICKED" at The Pantages Theater. Needless to say, I was ecstatic!  I can't wait to go it again with my little Chung Bung a.k.a. Gina.

Street Fair

A month or so ago Keith and I said we would walk down to the Street Fair 1 night but somehow we found ourselves down inhaling food ALL 3 nights!  One night my parents came down along with my sister and Darrrrrra!  Good times!

My Lovely Lace Goddess, by Goddess I mean the dress not me!

So letting all the wedding bliss was hard for me I am not going to lie. Thank goodness one of my best friends Marisa warned me so I was somewhat prepared.  I am leading into this so you know why the photos you see here are here.  I absolutely loved my wedding dress (a gift from my mother)  which was amazingly a Monique Lhuillier and I couldn't bear to box it up without trying it on one last time.  So I waited and waited for the perfect moment to slip it on again.  Keith was home and took a few pics of me galavanting around the house in it before I took it to the cleaners.

To my surprise when I dropped it off at the cleaners the gentleman who so patiently waited for me to arrive 15 minutes passed closing, told me that the way they preserve the dresses is much different from most.  They recommend that you pull it out every 3 years to check for discoloration or damages. This is perfect for me because that is more than long enough to wait before I can slip it on again!  If I can fit into it then . . . .  could be big and round with a bun in the oven!  Like 2 of my good friends: Marisa and Leslie!

EDDIE

So when we first moved in we didn't have any decor or thematic concepts going on . . .  I mean we just got married so what could we possibly own but a wedding dress and weddings rings and even those weren't a officially "ours".  So anyways, Keith had this little Hawaiian figurine that he set up in the bathroom- keep in mind he moved in a month earlier then I did.  We were "old school" and waited until after the big day to move in.  So he had already put a few of his belongings around the house.  Well this little doll was sitting on the window ledge in the bathroom.   Immediately asked him what it was and he said it was his little Hawaiian dude and that he liked it in the bathroom because it made everyone happy when they used the "bano."  I said,  "Ok, but as soon as we get all the nice bathroom decorations we registered for we will have to find him another home."

Obviously he wasn't stoked but he didn't make too much of it until I re-did the bathroom after we received the gifts.  I pulled the figurine out and Keith was immediately peeved with the thought that I would tear his little hawaiian prince away form his "kingdom."  I quickly reminded him of the deal we made earlier in the month.  I said Eddie can hang out in the garage and before I knew it I had named the doll and Keith was repeatedly yelling out his name from the bedroom. Over and over and over again all I could her was the waling sound" EEEE-DDDDD-IIIIIII-EEEE . . . . EEEE-DDDDD-IIIIII-EEEEE !!   So long story short no we have fun taking Eddie and hiding him from each other.  Currently Keith has not found Eddie for at least a month!  Needless to say we are having a blast together!

Furnish the house!

Ok so married Life is amazing . . . we are getting more comfortable in our house as we slowly furnish it.  Little did I know that trying to fill our tiny little house would take some time but all things considering it has come together pretty quickly.
