A great childhood friend of mine was in a terrible snowboard accident on March 4th 2010. Josh shattered his T12 vertebrae and is currently in a wheelchair. I ask whole heartedly for your prayers for Josh's strength, courage, determination and patience on this long journey of recovery.

I had to step away from my family blog for a bit. As some of you know my Uncle passed in September and I was not up for posting anything personal. I asked my Aunt if she minded if I share about my Uncle so I can remember him as an accomplished Colonel, a loving husband, a dedicated father and a sarcastic uncle. I think the beautiful words written by my incredible Aunt and brilliant cousin Cristobal speak for themselves.

Kathy's (Keith's mama) birthday is the day after my mom's - we have a ton of Virgos in this family! Baby Andylan was the spotlight that night; only after Kathy of course!

Shine

The Street Fair was a little too crowded this year so we only went 1 night- and just because we were pretty busy that weekend. Heat wave + crowd of people=Shiny faces!

As you can see Dara couldn't keep his hands off our combo appetizer!

Ran into my sister and Dara when we went to watch the fight a few weeks ago with Brook and Jake- always a good time!
